Planning for taxes throughout the year

Your tax return tells you where you ended up for the year. Planning gives you a chance to talk through decisions along the way, such as a change in income, a property purchase, or how you pay yourself from a business.

You don't have to wait until you're gathering tax documents to ask for help. If you're thinking about making a change, we can look at the tax implications with you and explain the options that fit your situation. Different choices have different deadlines, which is why having the conversation early can help.

During the year, we'll check how your income, withholding and estimated payments compare with the plan. When something changes, we'll talk about what that means and what to do next.
